Dear Church Family,
As I announced on Sunday, we will be celebrating Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020 outside on the church grounds! This will begin the soft re-opening of Good News Church. The band will be on a stage outside near the nativity stable. We encourage you to bring a chair and to sit in the shade under our beautiful oak trees. If you would like to watch from your cars that’s fine. Parking will be available in the grass lot with FM radio signal to watch and listen to the service. Please wear something red and don’t forget your chairs. We will be outside for 2 weeks – May 31st and June 7th. I will be starting my summer series on the Book of Acts May 31st. It will be a history of the birth and growth of the church as well as the Acts of the Apostles.
Going forward we will move toward re-entering the church building. In this letter you will find a page that outlines the Re-Entry Proposal and Timeline along with the COVID-19 Church Protocols. We ask that you follow the protocol, be sensitive to, and love one another.
Please be assured that we will still be streaming live services each week. If you are uncomfortable in any way about returning to church on site, please continue to view us online. We will continue with the mission of online services from now on. Our goal is that everyone be comfortable and safe. We are doing our best to provide options for you regarding how you will worship together with us.
I hope you know that we love you and miss you and will be glad to see you when the time comes. If you have any questions at all, please call the church office at (352) 315-1695.
In His Grip,
