I grew up in Winter Park, Florida and attended University of Central Florida, graduating in 1980. After several years as a recording artist for Heartland Records, I attended Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia and earned my Master of Divinity in 1987. For twenty-five years, I served in a local church in many different roles, including youth pastor and assistant pastor. Since 2009, I have been privileged to serve as the Pastor of Good News.
My family includes my wife Sandy (wonderful mother and wife); Johsua James (Civil Servant/Musician); Brittany Sarah (Anesthetist CRNA/Musician); John Michael (Cattleman/Athlete/Musician); Seth David (Rocker/Musician). Our family has grown over the last few years with the addition of two daughter-in-laws (Jackie – married to Joshua) and (Kaitlyn – married to John Michael).
