The challenge is clear; the ball is in our court. The Lord has opened doors and moved mountains, both big & small for Good News Church to have a new address and building. We will be closing this month and beginning renovations by mid May.
As I said in my message April 21st, we have prayed, planned & prepared and are continuing to do so. Now, we must pursue the goal and participate in the process. We must persevere when problems arise so that we can prevail and accomplish the objectives. We know that God is in this, and we will be sure to give Him credit and praise for the results. So, be ready to “step up”, “jump in”, “hop on” and be part of the fun and activity. We will be having a cleaning day soon to make the way ready for paint, carpet, ceiling tiles, etc., you get the picture…”lottsa” stuff to do & “lottsa” folks to do it.
This is a very important time in the life of GNC. These times will test our metal and measure our resolve, of that I’m sure. But just like Nehemiah and the Wall, people will look on in amazement as God works His will and has His way in us. His presence and help will be obvious.
In closing, let me quote the Apostle Paul Eph 4:1-3: “…walk in a manner worthy of the calling, with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. How appropriate!
Let’s not only do this, but do it well as we Love God, Love each other and love people who don’t know God yet.
