Well, you know what they say… “You are what you eat” … “garbage in garbage out”… “if you lie down with the dogs you’re gonna end up smellin’ like ’em”.
You get the point–what we fill our lives and time with shapes who we become. What we study, experience and believe profoundly affects how we live.
The scripture says, “Therefore, if any person is in Christ he is a new creature, the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Cor. 5:17
We just saw this principal at play in the Romans Series. Paul makes very clear that trusting in Christ and what He has done changes our priorities and the way we live. We strive to be “transformed by the renewing of our minds” (Rom: 12), “raised up to walk in newness of life” (Rom: 6:14). “Dead to sin, but alive to God.” (Rom: 6:11).
The Good News of Jesus Christ will change your life; it really will! The implications of faith in Jesus Christ are significant and profound. It’s a living faith, not a dead doctrine or routine religion. When we believe in Him, we are called to live out loud. Our faith manifests itself in ways that can be seen and heard…Loud ‘n’ Clear! Come hear more about it in our message series,
“Live Out Loud”… (LOL)
