A Christmas Carol – Living Out the Songs of the Season

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas…

And it is going to be even more like Christmas as the month rolls along.

Our Message series is titled … “A Christmas Carol”. Each week we will base the message on one of the old traditional carols… building one upon another, week after week.

“O Come O Come Emmanuel”

“O Holy Night”

“O Come All Ye Faithful”

“Away in A Manger”

“Silent Night” (Christmas Eve)

Get involved and/or attend some of the special events that will be taking place through the month:

  • 2 – Angel Tree tags to choose from
  • 9– Caroling at nursing homes
  • 15—Ladies Christmas Brunch
  • 16,17,18–Living Nativity
  • 21—GN Students Christmas Party
  • 23—GN Kids Christmas Party
  • 24—Christmas Eve Services, 4 and 6pm

Most of all, remember the reason for the season.

“The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which shall be for all the people. For today in the city of David, there has been born for you, a savior who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in clothes lying in a manger” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth Peace among men with whom he is well pleased.”      Luke 2:10-14

Merry Christmas!!!
